My Journey So Far!

HELLO!

I’m Sooryajith, a Digital Marketing professional specialising in SEO and digital marketing analytics, with a strong interest in user experience and interaction design. My journey into digital marketing has been shaped by curiosity, movement across cultures, and a constant desire to understand how people discover, interact with, and trust digital experiences.

From building strong foundations in business and marketing to working hands-on with real brands, my path has been one of continuous learning, experimentation, and growth.

I’m originally from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala — often called God’s Own Country — where my early years shaped a deep sense of curiosity and observation. My schooling journey then took me to Bahrain, where I completed my higher secondary education, gaining early exposure to a diverse, multicultural environment.

My academic foundation in business began in Bangalore, widely known as India’s IT capital. It was here that I completed my Bachelor’s degree and first discovered my interest in how technology, data, and consumer behaviour intersect. This interest led me to pursue a crash course in digital marketing at Digital Academy 360, where I gained practical exposure to SEO, paid advertising, and content strategy.

I went on to work as a Digital Marketing Executive at Bigbee Experience Management Pvt Ltd, where I handled end-to-end SEO, WordPress optimisation, content creation, and Google Ads campaigns. Alongside this, I worked as a freelance digital marketing consultant, supporting startups and growing brands across e-commerce, education, and B2B sectors — helping them improve search visibility, website performance, and digital strategy.

To deepen my strategic and analytical skills, I moved to Edinburgh to pursue an MSc in Digital Marketing at Heriot-Watt University. I recently graduated, with a strong research focus on SEO, customer effort reduction, and digital customer experience.

Today, I’m focused on refining my craft, learning continuously, and seeking growth opportunities where I can combine data, strategy, and creativity to build digital experiences that genuinely perform.
